AND CONDITIONS
DEPOSIT AND FINAL PAYMENT – A deposit per person together with optional insurance must be received upon booking. The deposit and balance due will depend upon tour of choice. For each tour a different deadline will be determine. Late documents may need overnight delivery of documents, an expense that must be borne by the passenger.
FORMS OF PAYMENT: We except VISA, MASTER CARD, DISCOVER, AMERICAN EXPRESS, MONEY ORDER AND PAY PAL. Personal check 30 days before departure ( $25 service charge for return checks) and Western Union, ( a $10. service fee will be added on to all Western Union payments) Credits card authorization forms must be faxed, mailed or emailed before payment will be apply to your trip.

The Client may cancel the booking at any time provided that the cancellation is communicated to AMERICASCONNECT by writing.
Additionally, airfare cancellation charges will incur accordance with the rules of the individual airline involved
VISA: A VISA IS REQUIRED TO ENTER BRAZIL FOR VISITORS TRAVELING WITH A USA PASSPORT. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR LOCAL BRAZILIAN CONSULATE OR EMBASSY FOR MORE INFORMATION.
Visa services are available for Bay Area travelers for extra cost.
AIR TRANSPORTATION- Air transportation (where included) is based on contracted bulk fare(s) in economy classes, with participating IATA or ARC carrier. All fares are subject to change and availability. Should airline schedule changes result in a necessity to alter the land arrangements, any additional expenses must be borne by the passenger?
ITINERARIES AND CANCELLATION – All itineraries are subject to change. Departure is guaranteed with a minimum number of participants. In case of fully escorted group tours departure is intended for a minimum of 10 participants. In case of less than minimum requested participants dates and prices might change. In case the group does not materialize and tour will be called off and deposits will be refunded. All participants will be advised of group tour materialization no later than 30 days before departure day.
TRANSFERS- Transfers, including inner city travel, to/ from airports, hotels, trains, buses and ports are included, as indicated, as per schedule itinerary.
REFUNDS ON LAND ARRANGEMENTS – Once your trip has commenced, no refund can be given for any missed transfers, sightseeing, meals, accommodations, services or nay voluntary absence from a tour. In the case of emergency departure from tour, based on proper documentation, any refunds secured on you behalf will subject to a $60 processing fee. Refund request must be sent in writing no later than 2 weeks after return.
BAGGAGE: Transatlantic flights allow tow checked bags per person with neither to exceed 62 inches. Total dimension of both bags not exceed 102 inches, plus one carry-on bag not o exceed 39 inches. In addition, baggage is limited to 70 pounds per bag. When traveling between countries and on domestic flights within each country, baggage is weighed, allowing 44 pounds. Any excess baggage is at the passenger’s own expenses. Infants: No baggage permitted.
ROOMMATES: AMERICASCONNECT and its affiliates will not be held responsible for unlawful or inappropriate behavior by your roommate. We are matching single passengers together as courtesy and cannot vouch for the character of a potential roommate. We recommend you take the opportunity to contact your roommate before the trip. Once we have arrived on the destination will do every thing to remedy any miss matches but we can not make any guarantees. In order to change rooms may result in a down graded room or possibly extra expanse to the passenger.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: We recommend that you purchased adequate and comprehensive travel insurance before departure. AmericasConnect Tours is not responsible for loss or damage to luggage, accident en route or ill health that may require you to miss part of your trip or your return to the U.S.A with the group. Cost is determined on total cost of the trip and age of passenger.

TIPS: Though service charges are included, it is customary to show your appreciation to the hotel and cruise personnel, the drivers, the guides of your tour.
TAXES: Border Taxes, Airport Taxes, Customs & Immigration Fees must be prepaid together with the airfare.
- General: Passports, visa fees, baggage insurance, alcohol drinks, mineral water, after- dinner coffee and tea and other items of personal nature. Shipping and handling.
SPECIAL NOTICE: Delays, cancellations and overbooking may occur on air flights, cruises, and land reservations by the participating carriers and hotels. While we do everything possible to avoid these inconveniences, we cannot and will not assume responsibility for the respective carries and hotels.
DISCLAIMER: AmericasConnect acts only as agent for the tour members in making arrangements for hotels, transportation, touring, restaurants, organizations or any services in connection with the itinerary. We will exercise reasonable care in making such arrangements. However, we do not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity to person and property because of an act of default of any hotel, airline carrier, restaurant, company, or person rendering any of the services included in the tour. The right to reserved to cancel or change itineraries or to substitute comparable services without notice. The right is also reserved to decline to accept or to retain any tour passengers should such person’s health or general deportment in the opinion of AmerciasConnect impede operation of the tour or be a detriment of the other passengers.
All itineraries are sample itineraries, intended to give you a general idea of the likely trip schedule. Numerous factors like weather, road conditions, and the physical ability of the participants etc may dictate itinerary changes either before the trip or while on the trip. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interest of the trip participant's safety, comfort and general well being. Our rates are based on the prevailing rates as negotiated by us with the hotels, airlines etc. Hotels and Airlines retain the right to modify the rates without notice. In case of such changes we can change the rates quoted before the modification, according to the modifications by hotels or airlines. All hotel bookings are based on usual check in and check out time of the hotels until unless indicated in the itinerary. We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the program or expenses incurred - directly or indirectly - due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipments, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents. We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting - directly or indirectly - from any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control. We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. All baggage & personal property/s at all times are at the client's risk.
AGE, FITNESS AND PARTICIPATION: All Clients are expected to satisfy themselves prior to booking that they are fit and able to complete the itinerary of their choosing. Persons over 60 years of age will be advised to obtain medical evidence of fitness to travel on the chosen itinerary. No unaccompanied minors (those under 18 years of age) can be accepted on tours operated by AMERICASCONNECT, however older teenagers may be considered provided they are accompanied by a parent or guardian who accepts full responsibility for them. AMERICASCONNECT reserves the absolute right to decline a booking at their discretion. Clients agree to accept the authority and decisions of AMERICASCONNECT employees, tour leaders and agents, whilst on the tour with AMERICASCONNECT. If in the opinion of such person the health or conduct of a Client before or after departure appears likely to endanger the safe, comfortable or happy progress of a tour, the Client may be excluded from all or part of the tour. In case of ill health AMERICASCONNECT may make such arrangements as it sees fit and recover the costs thereof from the Client.
ILLNESS OR DISABILITY: Anyone suffering from illness or disability or undergoing treatment for any physical or medical condition must declare the true nature of such condition at the time of booking and make arrangements for the provision of any medication or other treatment which may be required during the tour. Failure to make such disclosure will constitute a breach of these booking conditions and result in such persons being excluded from the tour in which case all monies paid will be forfeit.
SUBSTITUTION OF CLIENTE: If any member of your party is prevented from traveling, it may be possible to transfer the booking to another suitable person, provided that written notice is given at least 30 days prior to departure. An administration fee of 50 US$ will be levied plus any costs imposed by AMERICASCONNECT’s suppliers. Airlines may impose 100% cancellation charges and the cost of a new ticket.
LOCAL LAWS: All participants in tours operated by AMERICASCONNECT are expected to obey the laws and regulations of the country visited and any failure to do so will relieve AMERICASCONNECT of all obligations that they may otherwise have under these booking conditions.
OUR RESPONSIBILITY: AMERICASCONNECT cannot guarantee the accuracy of any hotel, resort or other leaflet which is not published by them but may be supplied as an additional service to the Client.
- AMERICASCONNECT accepts responsibility for ensuring that the tour which the Client books with them is supplied as described in the final version of the travel program the Client will receive upon arrival and the services reach a reasonable standard.
- AMERICASCONNECT acts only in the capacity of an agent upon the legal conditions that, while exercising every possible precaution, it is not responsible for injury, sickness, damage, loss, additional expenses, accidental delay, or other irregularities which may be caused either through willful or negligent acts or omissions made by the companies or individuals providing or engaged in transportation, accommodation or other services related to the accomplishment of the tour, or through natural disasters, social upheavals or other causes.
PAYMENT: The balance of all monies due must be paid to AMERICASCONNECT no later than 30 days before departure. In case of non-payment of the balance by the due date AMERICASCONNECT will treat the booking as cancelled by the Client. In the case of late bookings (those made within 30 days of the departure date). Full payment of the balance is due immediately.
Payment can either be made by transferring the total amount of the invoice to one of our accounts, money order, and check or by credit card. AMERICASCONNECT ( PayPal ) accepts all major credit cards. In case of a bank transfer all wiring and transfer costs should be assumed by the client.
